Why this calculator is different
See how tax withheld is compared with estimated tax instead of confusing a refund with total after-tax income.
CPP/QPP, EI and QPIP are shown separately from federal and provincial income tax.
Compare the same return with an additional RRSP deduction without replacing your original inputs.
Use the full calculator without an account, upload, email address or filing-service redirect.
The calculator applies progressive 2026 federal and provincial or territorial tax brackets to estimated taxable income. It includes the income-dependent federal basic personal amount, provincial basic personal amounts, the Canada employment amount, estimated CPP/QPP and EI credits, the federal dividend gross-up and credit, Quebec’s federal abatement, Ontario surtax and health premium, and the British Columbia tax reduction. Capital gains use a 50% inclusion assumption.
