More countries can be added here

This page is built as a growing directory. New calculators will appear only after their country-specific rules, tax year and calculation logic are implemented and checked.

Why country-specific calculators matter

Different tax years

Canada generally uses the calendar year, while Australia’s income year usually runs from 1 July to 30 June.

Different payroll systems

Canadian CPP/QPP and EI are not equivalent to Australian PAYG withholding, Medicare levy or HELP repayments.

Different residency rules

Residency and foreign-income treatment must be assessed under the rules that apply in each country.

Frequently asked questions

Which country tax calculator should I use?+

Use the calculator for the country whose tax rules apply to the income you are estimating. Canada and Australia have different tax years, residency rules, deductions and payroll systems.

Can I combine Canadian and Australian income in one calculator?+

No. Estimate each country separately. Cross-border residency, foreign tax credits and treaty treatment can require advice from a professional familiar with both systems.

Are the tax calculators free?+

Yes. Both calculators are free, require no account and perform calculations locally in your browser.

Will more countries be added?+

Yes. This directory is designed to add more country-specific calculators as reliable, current calculation rules are implemented and tested.
